Appraisals

The first step for a consignment or purchase is a gratuitous, non-binding oral estimate of your objects, either at our office or on your premises.  In many cases, this can also be done on the basis of photographic materials, because we can often tell from photographs whether the object is suitable for one of our art auctions. Unfortunately, a precise appraisal is not always possible per photograph, because not all defects can be established this way. Hence in the case of each consignment we have to reserve the right to correct the appraised price in cases of damaged objects. We are also available for written appraisals for official purposes, such as cases of damages to a work, insurance, inheritances, etc.
